I might be from the 70’s but I can still blog, right?
We thought we would give it a go. Our 40+ years of experience has taught us that while some things change, others stay the same.
We’ve been around a while, founded in 1977 in fact, with the idea that we could help people do more with technology.
Back then the internet didn’t even exist and computers certainly weren’t for the faint of heart. We helped our clients to navigate the landscape and helped them make technology an enabler at the core of their organisations.
Today we’re still all about helping clients do more, but we definitely offer a few different solutions! We now work mainly with the content management system Drupal, the CRM platform CiviCRM and the ERP and Accounting platform Odoo, (and also have a few other tricks up our sleeves!). These are some of the most flexible and powerful tools available.
They are also open source - What does that mean?
Well it basically means that you as the purchaser have the control. Rather than being dependant on a single proprietary product, you have the flexibility to develop your platform as you need. You’re also not locked into a single supplier and don’t pay any licence fees. The source code for the system is “open” and freely available online.
Open source gives you the maximum flexibility and value from your investment in technology.
Using open source we can build platforms that help teams to do more. Just read some of our case studies.
Working mainly with non-profits and arts organisations we’ve worked tirelessly over the past 5 years to build solutions that fit their needs. We’ve learnt a lot in that time, how to focus your team by asking the right questions, how to manage a project to be flexible when requirements change and most of all, how to be obsessive about quality when delivering under pressure.
You’ll find a few members of the team out and about, speaking at various conferences and meetups, so don’t be shy and please come over and say hi.
Technology is a journey, and we’d love to help you with yours. If you are thinking about your next project, want to learn more about Open source, or just plain wanted to have a chat, we’d love to hear from you.
